Rohit Sharma said he felt incredible to be a part of this game but we feel more than that in bringing it to you. Spare a thought for our fingers (pun intended). Shouldn't be complaining as it's our job. But surely you should spare a thought for Hashim Amla. Someone who has not scored a ton in this format before, scored one today but still saw his side end on the losing side, quite disheartening!

Man of the Match, Jos Buttler feels that he has been in good touch in the tournament. Says that he is happy that he could contribute to the team's cause. Feels that it was a good wicket and the ground was small too. Opines that it was a good toss to win because even 200 was not enough. Mentions that it was great to chase such a big score from ball one as it allowed him to play his shots freely.

Rohit Sharma calls it an incredible game. Mentions that it reminded him of the 2014 game against Rajasthan where they chased 195 in 14.4 overs. Says that to chase such a big total in 15.3 overs was fantastic. Praises Hashim Amla for his knock. Opines that the atmosphere in the dressing room after the first innings was calm, they believed that they could chase this total down as the ground is quite small. Also mentions that the start given by Parthiv Patel and Jos Buttler was amazing. Feels that Parthiv has worked very hard and adds that he was great in the domestic season too. Thinks that it is necessary to look into the performance of his star bowlers too. Says that it is an area they can improve on and the management is backing them. Adds that this is just the first half of the tournament, so it is vital not to lose the momentum now. Hopes that the winning run is not broken and that they stay focused.

Glenn Maxwell says that the conditions were pretty fair for the batters. Thinks that 198 was a par total. Mentions that Hashim Amla and Shaun Marsh's batting were the positives. Feels that Buttler played beautifully. Reveals that they tried the slower ones, bumpers but the English batsman was hitting them all away. Ends by saying that their next game is against Gujarat in Rajkot where the pitch will again help the batsmen so no respite for his bowlers.
Much to everyone's surprise, the required run rate never came into the picture. A dream chase from Rohit's men has now put them on top of the points table. Simply outstanding! None of the Punjab bowlers were spared. All of them suffered a monstrous hammering and that will surely haunt them for quite a long time.

Mumbai continue their dominance this season. Punjab, on the other hand, will be running for shelter after a shock they received down their spine. They seriously need to buck up. That's all from us for today. Indian T20 League will continue to trundle. Tomorrow Kolkata will host Gujarat at 2000 local (1430 GMT). Do join us for that. Until then, it's goodbye from us. Cheers..!
