Kolkata skipper, Gautam Gambhir says that they are a confident chasing side. Credits his bowlers for bowling really well and restricting the opposition to 180. On his batting, he replies it's always good to be contributing with the bat. Mentions that he has always maintained that the individual milestones do not matter as it is a team game and what really matters is points on the board. Applauds his wrist spinners for bowling really well and also appreciates Umesh Yadav and Chris Woakes. Feels that the Indian T20 League has a very hectic schedule and they did not want to risk Nathan Coulter-Nile who is coming after a long lay off. Ends by saying that he will be mostly back for the next game.

Pune skipper, Steven Smith says that they were in the game at the innings break. Adds that the boys did well to get 180. Mentions that they were not helped by the dew as the bowlers struggled to grip the ball. Further adds that they needed 200 probably, in hindsight. Credits Gambhir and Uthappa for pacing their knocks. Admits that they did miss Stokes but others should have stepped up. Adds that they again dropped a few catches and it's happening a lot. Feels it is not an attitude thing and wants it to get sorted. Hopes that they can turn things around and execute their plans better.

Man of the Match, Robin Uthappa says that he has always been strong. Adds that he just informed someone close that he is feeling very confident about his technique. Says that it is important to respect the momentum generated and not to take anything for granted. Their aim is to finish in the top two on the table. Mentions that his glovework can get better, MS Dhoni has set the benchmark so he is trying to get there. Adds that they knew the deck would be better to bat on in the second innings despite the odd ball gripping a touch.

Thats it, will see tomorrow.
