Man of the Match, Ben Stokes says that he has a cramp in his calf and he gets them a lot so hopes to be fine tomorrow morning. Calls it great to be part of both sides of the game and says that it is the best part about being an all-rounder. Admits that they lost quite a few early wickets but he and Dhoni were happy to take it over by over and it worked off. Calls it one of the good days. On his maiden ton, says that it's always nice to get personal accolades but hopes that the team can continue to do well and go through to the final. Mentions that the break was actually good as he got his practice routines right which he thought were slipping away. Is happy that he put those into practice today.

Steven Smith starts by saying they didn't get an ideal start but feels they recovered big time. Emphasizes on the partnership between Stokes and Dhoni and continues praising Stokes to take them over the line. Further says the bowlers can't be kept out as they are the ones who pulled things back to restrict a heavy batting unit to a respectable total. Adds they have played some good cricket recently and hopes they continue to do so. Ends by lauding Stokes yet again and opines he is one of the quality players in their ranks.

Suresh Raina is really disappointed with the loss but feels they did well. Appreciates Stokes for anchoring the innings and taking the game away from them. Admits they were surely below par which in the end cost them the game. Lauds the efforts of Sangwan and Soni for the way they bowled. Ends up saying they still have four games to go and would look to take the responsibility a bit more. Hopes they can turn things around.
